We recommend professional servicing every 2 years , unless you are noticing sooty logs, hard starting fires, or smell gas fumes. Our service department will check your fireplace for gas leaks, clean your glass, touch up the black paint surfaces, vacuum the heat exchanger area, replace embers if needed, and test fire your unit. The fireplace does need to have the glass cleaned as the whitish film begins to develop.
