At a low 1.9 grams per hour EPA emissions, the Homestead is the most efficient burning hearth-mount stove on the market. Available with short or tall legs, the Homestead works both as a hearth-mount stove, adaptable to a wide range of fireplaces, and as a freestanding stove. The Homestead’s classic styling and slim profile comfortably fit into any home décor. Its 1¼” thick soapstone body provides extended, lasting heat, up to 50,000 BTUs per hour, that perseveres through the night.

Non-catalytic combustion system – clean burning, more complete combustion provides more heat for less wood, greater efficiency, reduced smoke and creosote build-up. Single lever air-intake control– Stove operation is easy; performance more consistent. Outside air adaptor (optional) – Improved efficiency in today’s ‘air-tight’ newer homes; reduces cold air drafts along the floor. Rear heat shield (optional) – Allows more placement options; stove can be installed closer to wall, because clearance requirements are reduced; creates a convection passageway between shield and back of stove to allow fan to circulate air through house. Fan with built in thermostat and rheostat (optional) – Helps spread heat evenly throughout home; fan operates only when stove is at significant heat level. The rheostat controls fan speed. Use of rear heat shield required. Surround for hearth-mount (optional) – Reduces mantel and side clearance; enhances appearance; increases efficiency when Homestead is install in an existing fireplace.
